Slow Down for Deep Release
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga based on the Taoist concept of Yin and Yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. It serves as a wonderful complementary practice to more vigorous Yang-based practices like Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga.
Through passive, long-held floor postures it targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and deep fascia. These long holds are also known to release repressed or stored emotions and will be combined with breath and awareness practices to further facilitate your inner transformational process.
