Style of Breathwork
Clarity Breathwork is a gentle, circular breathing technique that helps you tap into your subconscious to allow for healing and transformation. It goes deep into our nervous system, where we store our emotions, old energies, patterns, conditioning, negative thoughts and beliefs, allowing for greater healing and release to occur.
How to prepare
- Eye mask (optional)
- Comfortable place to lie down (bed, yoga mat, cushion)
What this session will entail
The 90-minute session will consist of a brief talk at the beginning about the style of breathwork we are going to practice and we’ll demonstrate how to actually do the breathing technique. You’ll then settle in on your mat or bed, and we’ll guide you through a brief meditation before going into the 45 min breathwork session. Each session is carefully curated to a musical playlist that relates to a monthly theme designed to take you on a journey and inner exploration. We will gently guide you out of the session, with a 5-10 min integration process and end with a sharing circle. No one will be forced to share – this is all voluntary.
What you may experience
Some results may be: stress reduction, less struggle, increased ease, pleasure, aliveness, improved self-esteem, greater safety in the physical universe, and a more positive attitude, in general.
A typical session may include: build-up of energy, tingling, tightness, range of feelings, unconsciousness, breath taking off on its own, tension dissolving, release, bliss, integration.
Please be aware that these sessions are safe and often deeply healing, but also can sometimes cause/and are not limited to:
- Trembling or shaking other physical sensations
- Emotional experiences
- Experience of energy moving through your body
** We will have time at the end of the breathwork session, where some participants will get a chance to share their experiences with the group and gain some insight into what they might have experienced.
